DFBIAOne of my co-workers (TTUN fan) came into my office talking about Bosa leaving and that ESPiN stated Bosa said something along the lines of not wanting to play for a coach that values wins over health. Nobody linked it here and no way I visit the worldwide leader. Was he full of shit?

I was thinking that this decision was made by his father, and his comments confirm that. I had a feeling this would happen with his fathers initial comments after the injury. He’s a smart business man helping his son make smart business decisions. I think if nick were to make the decision alone he would be attempting to return. I also think IF he’s healthy he will regret the decision when he’s watching the ttun game and possibly the playoffs from LA.
Just saying I’m sure nick loves his brothers and wants nothing more than to battle with them. His father helped him take the emotion out of the decision.
Now knowing that Nick was playing with a partial tear all year, I wouldn’t have even let him play until he was fully healed if he was my son. If he needed the film for the draft I understand. For an almost guaranteed Top 5 pick? Naw man. We'll never know for sure, but if I had to guess, I'd guess the same. Recall, he's the same dad who forbid Joey from doing back-flips. And, frankly... if I were in the same shoes... I'd likely have a "you can do a back-flip after the ink is dried, provided there are no provisions in your contract prohibiting you from doing so... oh, and you may want to wait until after your second contract's ink is dry."
Don't begrudge the decision one bit.
I think I'm the only one here that would disagree with this. I don't know the x's and o's as much as many others on here who will probably straighten out my thoughts, but I did not think he was a guaranteed top 5 pick before the year started. Now knowing that Nick was playing with a partial tear all year, I wouldn’t have even let him play until he was fully healed if he was my son. This sucks so damn bad. Best DE to ever play here cut short. I do not blame him one single bit, just sucks as a fan to not get to watch him destroy offenses.
That would effectively be the season...
