“I’m just proud that we fought back after a rough start,” Bosa said of what he’s most proud of the team for. “That we just kept confidence in the team. I think we grew a lot as a unit — especially D-line and as a defense. We plugged in guys after injury when people were counting us out after some big injuries. But yeah, we just showed that we can fight and we’re going to keep fighting.”
Bosa was asked about how special it is to play for the 49ers and how it feels to have this era come to an end, which was possibly a hint at the future of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Bosa said that playing for the franchise is “super special,” but pushed back on this being the end of an era.
“It’s super special,” Bosa continued. “I don’t think the era comes to an end. I think we have a lot to build off of from this year and I’m just proud of all the guys that I play with.”
