Nick Bosa sends strong message to rest of NFL
Nick Bosa’s second season in the NFL was cut short back in Week Two when he tore his ACL. Never fear as Bosa already has a message for everyone else around the league.
Bosa continues to rehab in the early parts of the offseason, but the elite pass rusher isn’t one to shy away from big expectations after a stellar rookie season in 2019. Bosa had nine sacks as a rookie with the San Francisco 49ers.
However, Bosa said he’s going to be even better, if that was possible.
“I spoke w/ #49ers DL Nick Bosa (ACL) on the phone real quick before his workout in Ft Lauderdale, Florida today,” Insider Josina Anderson tweeted. “Bosa says right now he still wants to lay low while he continues to rehab, but told me, ‘You’ll see my progress on the field next year. Tell them I’m gonna be better.’”
In his career, Bosa has 53 total tackles, 35 solo tackles, nine sacks, 16 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one interception and two pass deflections. In less than two games last year, Bosa had six total tackles.
