Would be a good hire. Whoever they hire will need to bring in a good OC and fix the QB issue if they want to last.Interviewed for the Jets job.
If Jets hire Louis Riddick as GM, who I think is an OUTSTANDING evaluator of talent... plus Vrabel... subtract Rodgers... great things could happen quickHope he doesn’t take the Jets job. Needs to wait for a better org.
They have a fair amount of talent so a quick turnaround is possible. For that to happen, however, you need one of the bottom 5 owners in the league to make good hires and get out of their way. Would be a departure from his historical MO.If Jets hire Louis Riddick as GM, who I think is an OUTSTANDING evaluator of talent... plus Vrabel... subtract Rodgers... great things could happen quick
Riddick was the most adamant that CJ Stroud was THE BEST QB when all the bashing was going on... He also pumped for Jayden Daniels... IMO he's the best and I'd love for the Browns to go after him
Sure, but the Clowns typically don't do anything that makes sense. If Jets hire Louis Riddick as GM, who I think is an OUTSTANDING evaluator of talent... plus Vrabel... subtract Rodgers... great things could happen quick

Great things do not happen to the NewYork Jets. Sorry. If Jets hire Louis Riddick as GM, who I think is an OUTSTANDING evaluator of talent... plus Vrabel... subtract Rodgers... great things could happen quick

He's on the top of (pretty much) everyone's list:Patriots Job now open.
I can't believe that. A guy who emphatically said he'd never coach college and hated the thought of recruiting was not coming here. Throw in the fact that he knew he'd be the hottest NFL prospect in the new year. He wasn't coming. From my sources….. Vrabel was “the guy” if OSU lost to TN. Communication was kept open going into Oregon where we looked dominant.
Vrabel was told the OSU job was now closed off. Day did enough to save job.
He’s looking for best NFL job now.
I don’t know first hand. I know Dan Orlovsky alluded to it as well (that Vrabel had a job lined up in Ohio…could’ve been Browns job but that doesn’t appear likely either).I can't believe that. I think he walked those statements back at some point.I can't believe that. A guy who emphatically said he'd never coach college and hated the thought of recruiting was not coming here. Throw in the fact that he knew he'd be the hottest NFL prospect in the new year. He wasn't coming.
