Figured we may as well get a thread for Williams. I have posted about OSU really liking Nathan Williams, a LB/DE from Miami Trace. Our team scrimmaged them last night and it is easy to see Williams will be a top 10 player in Ohio for '08 and should get an OSU offer at some point. He is around 6'3 or 6'4 235 and is absolutely chiseled. He played RB on offense and it was unbelievable how fast he was off the ball. On defense he was unblockable and put serious heat on the QB from MLB. He spoke with JT at OSU camp after a great performance and from the hear-say of both camp and speaking with Trace people after the scrimmage, it sounds like OSU will be recruiting him hard. Now he did just get back from Michigan but apparently OSU has a solid lead and he is a big Buckeye fan. Everyone keep their eye out for Nathan Williams this year...simply an amazing specimen. We could keep this thread in reference until his measurable and so forth come in but I thought I would give the heads up now on him.

there was a lot of talk about him as a young player to watch when miles Schlitzer was getting recruited pretty hard.

He was also, in a few top sophs to watch in some magazines.

There isn't a profile yet but it shouldn't be too long before he gets one. Like I said, I just wanted to put out the info and get him a threat because he is an amazing player.

He attended quite a few OSU games last season. Given his current size, it seems like a good possibility that he'll outgrow the LB position once he gets to college.

4.67 does not put him in the Gibson, Freeman range... based on 40 times alone. Football isn't played with stopwatches, however.

just reading what some other fans said about him that saw him play. Never heard how he performed at any camps but, OSU is high on him so that does enough for me​
