Agreed on comparisons to Ben Martin all the way from limited film I've seen. I can't wait to see his entire junior film because it has to be good if he is going to be rated over Steve Miller at DE. As of now, I see Martin and Miller as 5 stars and will reserve judgement until I see Hayes, but it sounds as if he will be in strong contention.

Bucknuts $ - OSU All The Way For Hayes

OFFERS: Ohio State, Illinois, Toledo, Michigan St., "many others"... Other offers didn't matter once OSU came through... He's always wanted to go there, loves the coaches, loves everything about the program... Early graduation is a possibility but not confirmed yet... He's trying to work on Trey DePriest & get him to come to OSU too...

Has wanted to be a Buckeye for as long as he can remember... Getting to know the coaches has just reinforced his feelings & desire to become a part of the team... Hayes was the first to commit for the class & continues to lead by recruiting others: DerJuan Gambrell, Trey DePriest, Doran Grant, & Chase Farris...

Maybe Kenny didn't name every kid he is talking to...maybe the author didn't list every kid Kenny mentioned...maybe the BP mods didn't list every kid in the article...either way I wouldn't read too much into it.

These clips really show Hayes' athleticism... Spin moves, great in pursuit, change of direction, there's even one clip where he hurdles a player that's on the ground to make the tackle in the backfield... He also uses his length very well, batting down a couple of passes & using his wingspan to keep the OL from getting into his chest... Can't wait to see him S&G!
