I heard from former Ohio State DE Keith Wells, who had been attending community college down in Kansas much like Duron Carter.

Wells said a little while back that he planned to return to Ohio State once his academic affairs were in order, and it appears like he's on track to do so.

He told me he is back in Columbus attended classes at Columbus State for fall quarter and he expects to be re-instated by Ohio State in December.

That's big news actually, probably bigger than Carter to be honest. Wells is a good football player and he would be playing in their 2-deep right now if he were on the team. With Melvin Fellows seemingly not all the way back from that knee injury, the Buckeyes have been using Adam Bellamy or Garrett Goebel as the backup strongside end, but they're going to need even more help at end next year when they lose Cam Heyward.
