I saw a video on another board last night that most all the Ohio State coaches met JTT at the airport for his visit. They all dressed in Hawaiian shirts, had photographers there, and a police escort with him.
After yesterday I'd be okay if they'd shown up in grass skirts and coconut bras to get the commitment.

He just had a decent career.. if yesterday is the only day he ever played
I have a fairly rudimentary system that I use to compare defensive players (I will post the comparison charts for recent players at the end of this season):

3 points for each sack
2 points for each TFL that is not a sack (this is to avoid double counting a play, because a sack is also a TFL)
1 point for each tackle that is not a TFL or a sack (ditto, because a TFL or a sack is also a tackle)
3 points for each turnover (interception, forced fumble, fumble recovered, blocked kick)
2 points for each pass defensed that is not also an interception
1 point for each quarterback hurry
.1 points for each yard accounted for (yards lost on TFLs and sacks; yards gained on interception, fumble, and blocked kick returns
1 point for each defensive score (TD or safety)
Yesterday, JT accounted for 29.3 total points.

Last season, JT had 30.0 total points in 13 games; and entering this game, he had 26.4 points in 7 games.

So maybe not a decent career (for example, Tracy Sprinkle had 29.7 points in 30 career games), but perhaps a decent season.

By the way, JT's career score of 85.9 (in 21 games) places him in between Jashon Cornell (106.9 points in 45 games) and Steve Miller (81.7 points in 35 games); Joey Bosa is the Buckeye leader (this century) with 315.4 points in 41 games.

To make the comparisons more fair, I have also determined 40-game scores. JT's 40-game score is 163.6 points, which currently puts him in 12th place, right behind Tyquan Lewis (169.9 points); the current 40-game leaders are Joey Bosa (307.9 points) and Chase Young (284.0 points).

This is my kind of info. Love this
