I think right now it's either Buckeyes or Huskies. And I don't know how anyone can accurately say who he's favoring because he never speaks "on the record". In OSU's favor I think many 2020 and 2021 guys are in touch along with Gee Sr. and others at Ford. Plus our odds of being a playoff contender for the forseeable future, and of course LJ's record of turning out pros. But the current pandemic is most likely a big drawback for the family because who wants their kid 6hr.away by plane? That to me is the definition of uneasiness. That and you know the UDub coach has all the locals in JT's ear. So yeah alot of thinking and convincing still to be done here.

Top contenders: Ohio State, Washington, Oregon, USC

Recruiting outlook: Tuimoloau’s commitment timeline is a little up in the air right now but there is no question Ohio State has momentum. The Buckeyes are surging but there is no way Washington, Oregon, and USC are going to give up without a fight. There are a lot of ties to Washington and the in-state school is doing all they can to keep him close to home. USC and Oregon are very much in the race as well.

Farrell's take: Ohio State appears to be the leader here according to most while USC and Oregon try to sell him on staying west. However I think his home state school, Washington, will be the biggest threat to the Buckeyes. But right now I have Ohio State.

So my take from the Rivals gurus is Tuimoloau is leaning to the Bucks pending his impression of the team and campus when he finally visits and Adeleye is as good as in and it just depends when he's ready to announce. And Sawyer and Hall are already in. Do you see it that way Hot Mic or is that just wishful thinking? If it isn't, Good God!!

TUIMOLOAU SUPPLANTS SAWYER IN RANKINGS

All three of the top-ranked players in the 2021 class are defensive linemen, and Ohio State has a great shot at landing two of them.

Korey Foreman (No. 1) is already headed to Clemson, but the Buckeyes have some major momentum right now for the newly rated No. 2 overall player in the country, J.T. Tuimoloau, who has supplanted long-time Buckeye commit Jack Sawyer, who moved down a spot to No. 3 in the 247Sports composite rankings.
