Rocco has been hearing from entire Big Ten to go along with Notre Dame, Florida State, Oklahoma, and Alabama. His favorites right now are tOSU, Notre Dame, Iowa, Michigan St., and Florida St. He will go to as many 1-day camps as he can make this summer. Schools are recruiting him at both Quarterback and Defensive Back.

Rocco still holds an offer from Toledo and some Ivy League schools, but says he would love to play for tOSU. Coach Beckman spoke with Rocco's father recently. tOSU is recruiting him as a DB.

Video on Pentello from Sunshine Preps. He looks to be a good athlete with quick feet but appears to lack top end speed. Maybe a lower-tier Big Ten school safety prospect.

It will be interesting to see him at QB without his trio of 6'5 WR this year. I think his best position will be DB in college, but I do not see us going after him hard.

More and more teams are looking at Rocco as a safety, which is where he worked out at at OSU's camp. After camp, he picked up offers from Cincinnati, Marshall and Akron.

Rocco had a good showing at tOSU's camp. He posted a 36-inch vertical and ran in the 4.4's. He has offers from Akron, Toledo, Cincinnati, and Marshall. Rocco has a 3.4 GPA.

This just goes to show you that these articles are not always released in chronological order, especially when they are done by national recruiting analysts. This update by Crabtree makes no mention of his ankle injury.
