Cleveland Browns hire Kevin Griffin as VP-fan experience and marketing

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns have hired Kevin Griffin as vice president-fan experience and marketing. Griffin, who played football at Ohio State from 1995-98, comes to the Browns after working the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Sounders soccer team in the MLS.

He is the nephew of two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin. Kevin Griffin, a Columbus native who grew up in Seattle, earned a journalism degree from OSU. He earned a master's degree in athletic administration from Ohio University and was assistant executive director for the Washington Interscholastics Activities Association from 2000-04.

Griffin served as the Director of Fan Development for the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Sounders FC.
