jamario was almost a non factor today...not a bad thing for a 'shut down' corner. when the rules state it must be man on man coverage and you dont hear a guys # called thats a good thing. couple of real nice hits, the one on stewart etc.

was the huge knock out on kick coverage jamario...he did a similar thing vs mckinley

I was very impressed with Jamario today, and saw why he deserved such a high ranking. Seeing the East DB's get toasted one after another, it was great not seeing O'Neal's name being added to the list of West WR's scalps. Yeah he had that one bad game against Manningham in high school, but I think he's going to be better than advertised, if that's even possible. He showed it all today, coverage ability, hitting skills, and speed to burn.

Justin King (Monroeville, Pa.), Bryan Evans (Jacksonville, Fla.), JaMario O’Neal (Cleveland, Ohio - photo right), Kenny Phillips (Miami, Fla.), Victor Harris (Highland Springs, Va.), Michael Ray Garvin (Ramsey, N.J.), Leon Jackson (Pasco, Wa.) and Brandon Tatum (Fort Worth, Texas) all had shining moments and showed why they deserved to be U.S. Army All-Americans.....

........Hard to Believe - Jamario O’Neal was chosen to play for the East because Derrick Williams was injured. O’Neal was one of the best athletes on the East squad all week long. Jamario should have brought Freddie Lenix with him also, Lenix definitely belonged in San Antonio........

Apparently Rivals doesn't feel the same way (why, I don't know... he was the best cover corner out there in San Antonio).

Jamario is now the #3 corner, not #2, and has been downgraded to a 4*. Dee Morley jumped him to #2.

This is ludicrous. Jamario actually proved us all wrong when he said he was a definite safety. JamO can be a legit corner, as he was all over whoever he was on during the game. He also made the hit to jar the ball loose on Stewart's fumble. What in the world are they thinking over there?

.......Jamario O'Neal, 6-1, 190 from Cleveland Glenville, is the top cover corner in the Midwest. As a junior, he played alongside Ted Ginn, and picked up quite a few good habits because now O'Neal shows excellent recovery speed, a smooth backpedal and tremendous speed to the ball. He has enough talent to make a significant contribution to Ohio State next September.

Tom Lemming is a recruiting analyst for ESPN. Signing Day is Feb. 2.

I wouldn't mind JO getting a shot at RB. I remember he looked like a stud at RB in his sophmore year video. I don't know if he has progressed much, but it could be worth a shot (just like Ginn got a shot at WR).

It is nice having athletes that are not locked into one position, that way if you don't hit on every single recruit you can move somebody over and not miss a beat.

I'm not so sure we need to risk Jamario at RB because we have three solid running backs next year, and I'm crossing my fingers on Chris Wells for '06

This being said, I'd like to save Jamario to knock out some of those scUM recievers coming across the middle
