DB GA Gerren DuHart (Official Thread)

Gerren DuHart has been a major contributor to Michigan State’s coaching staff, especially on the recruiting trail. DuHart is someone that many recruits mention as making a strong impact in their recruiting process.

As for the coach from Michigan State that was recruiting him, Howard had a relationship with a coach that’s now gone to Ohio State to join Ryan Day’s coaching staff in Columbus, Ohio.

“It was (assistant defensive backs) coach (Gerren) DuHart, but he’s at Ohio State now. It’s (now) really (head coach) Mel Tucker and the defensive coordinator (Scottie Hazelton that’s recruiting me for MSU).”

Its a great sign that Day is hiring GAs that not only can coach, but also are factors on the recruiting trail

No offense to DuHart but I care far less about him impacting the recruiting of the DBs than I do their ability to actually play. I dint know why but my alarm bells have been going off lately when they describe people this way. WGAF about people this far down three line recruiting? Can he make players better at their actual jobs?

Can't lie when I saw MSU DBs all I could think about is CJ getting Heisman invites just from torching them alone.
