Hey, I am currently in a Statistics class as I'm a Business major. I am only a Sophmore so this is my first time doing a data analysis. I am kind of lost, quite frankly, on what I could do. For our project, we have to use at least 4 variables. An example that the prof did was real estate listings, where he used the cities where the real estate was located, the number of bedrooms, the square footage of living space, and the listing price as the 4 variables. We have to have a goal of course. His goal was "to determine the range of properties available in the two cities for a company considering relocating several of its employees to this region. When employees are approached about relocating, they often ask about housing. This report should answer many of their basic questions."

Any ideas guys/gals? I would really appreciate it. My brain is just not functioning too well right now.

It's really cold here right now and the weather is pretty nasty...I'm not a big drinker so I'm usually not at a bar very often. I like clubbing though :groove:. (shouldn't have mentioned that one! ) I admit that I procrastinate way too much and usually get :paranoid: by the time my projects are due. Anyway...you have any ideas? :wink:

How about this? Compare factors recruits would consider in selecting a college football program. Keep in mind two important precepts of statistics:

1) They can be manipulated
2) That's what going to make you the big $ later

So, make sure OSU comes up favorably, and then post it here for 21 to sticky to the top of the board for all the recruits to see. :)

Oops, forgot to add one important thing. My prof HATES sports so he does not want this statistical analysis to be on anything sports-related. :(
