When I was little, I spent summers at my aunt's house in Texas. I liked the uniforms, I met Tom Landry and Roger Staubach at a local mall, so I became a Cowboys fan.

I didn't realize I was signing up for this: :ohbrother:

Tim Cowlishaw: "Nine head coaches have been in their current post since the start of 2011. Six have won Super Bowls and a seventh (Carolina's Ron Rivera) at least made the trip. Jason Garrett and Marvin Lewis are the other two coaches. Kind of speaks for itself."

Thing is, even if Jerry does fire Garrett - as I think he should - he'll probably replace him with Jeff Fisher, Houston Nutt, or Art Briles. :roll1:

Get that weak ass shit out of here. I became a Lions fan as a kid due to Barry Sanders and my uncle who was from the Toledo area and my brother is a Browns fan due to my father's influence as a kid.

Coming from a guy who supports universities depending on the sports season - unlike those of us who actually graduated from one of the schools - I'll take your criticism under advisement, OrangeNation. Or is it still BuckeyeNation? It's tough to tell when basketball and football overlap. :roll1:

What if he spent time with his aunt during basketball season and that team was better than the team back home?

And then he literally admitted that he claimed them as his team when things were much better and that he didn't sign up to be a fan to endure these less inspiring moments?

Numb, disinterested skins fan here, just for the sake of transparency. They were also my local team, and thankfully I was far enough from PSU to not adopt them (the turtles would've been the closest but about as relevant as Denison athletics for me in East Columbus). I picked osu in the late 80s to the chagrin of my Spartan dad and solidified during the Cooper years. Sports are weird.

Which team? Syracuse or Ohio State? Or is it a seasonal thing?

I guess I'm weird about college sports since I didn't transfer to a more successful basketball program for winter quarter. I stayed at Ohio State the entire time. Go figure.

I seriously doubt he'll get fired anytime soon barring another 4-12. He's a former Cowboy and has very likely never told Jerry 'no' about anything ever, he's the perfect company man. As we all know, Jones would much rather have a coach that would hypothetically thank God King Jerry first upon winning a Super Bowl than a coach that's actually capable of winning a Super Bowl. The only solace I can take in this ginger fuck's continued employment is that his failures make Chris Christie sad.

It's kind of depressing to think about how these last two seasons may have ended up, in spite of Garrett, if Dak had a rookie season comparable to Wentz. At least he's getting that Tostitos money.
