As bas as Michigan is this might have been a good thing to keep the Yoopers (Upper Peninsula dwellers) from heading downstate to see the Trolls (those who live below the bridge).

*sigh*, I was ready to join the cause to divide the state East & West. SW MI (my home), GR, Traverse City, the UP (which I like)... if we can include Mackinac in the west, then the good places in MI are accounted for. The rest can join Canada.
