Have heard that the workouts for the guards and fowards have been going well.
Staff really happy how Jamar is working and showing skills/abilities he didn't really show last season.

Lewis and JJ are having "interesting" workouts to see who is top dog. HEHEHE!

Just wanted to mention that even though I'm excited about the current recruiting frenzy, that we must not forget to show love toward the guys who earned an NCAA bid this year[you know what I mean].

Great job Matta and staff. Keep working the current players hard and next years Buckeye may just surprise everyone including our fans!

Yeah, I agree.

It's easy to get caught up in this recruiting excitement. However, the current team (minus Stockman and BFC) is the team that won 20 last year - and beat Illinois....

I can't wait to see this team this year. And when these studs show up in 06, they will just compliment the already solid team that Matta has at his disposal. It's been almost 15 years since I felt this way about b-ball...and I'm a b-ball player.

I'm extremely pumped about next year. While BFC and Stockman played good years for us, they weren't on the same level as next year's team. Sylvester Mayes should make an instant impact, and rumors are that Lewis could be the best player on the team. We need help for TD badly tho. However he won't have to carry the team quite as much this year.

Ronald Lewis is going to suprise some people I think, he is a much needed slasher type guard who will get to the line and create for Dials and our spot up shooters.
