It still amazes me, though it shouldn't

How many fans under 30 have any idea what it used to be like?

I get that those of us on the other side of 45 sound like dinosaurs when we regale you with stories of how games used to be available only on the radio. But it wasn't that long ago when many games could only be seen on pay-per-view. Not long before that (this decade?) some games weren't televised at all.

It has been a long time since the Buckeyes played and I didn't see it while it happened.

I'm only mid-30s, but I remember when only a handful of games could be watched on TV and the rest you would to listen to on the radio. Growing up, Saturday was for yard work and we would be out there listening to the game while raking leaves and such. I actually miss that now. Go figure.

I remember when getting up off the couch to turn the channel was the only exercise I got...Yeah. Wasn't in real good shape back then either.

We kids were the remote control back then. My dad always yelled at us for turning the channels too fast.

You no longer have to miss it: Stop by my place! I'll supply the rake and the radio while my trees supply more than enough leaves. You can either pay me in beer or in cash - I'll be inside watching the game. :wink2:
