Same thing that's always been wrong with people, just on a larger scale. I think of it like this... back in the 1910s, for example, some slick salesman would roll into some town with some cure all and the townspeople would buy it up.... the internet provides a worldwide "town" open for the same exploitation.

My father was always ahead of the curve of these wacky therapies. Back in the 90's he was all over colloidal silver, kombucha and the urine treatments. I blame talk radio, it's on in his house 24/7.

If he's into kombucha, I can see why he'd be down to drink urine treatments. Kombucha probably tastes more like urine than the urine treatments.

I'm much more of a proponent of traditional remedies and treatments myself...
