I don't know who your company is, but any kind of employer offered healthcare I've had in my 60 years is nothing like your so called "elite" plan! My insurance costs me roughly $350 per month for 80/20 coverage after a $6500 deductible, with no coverage for ANYTHING (including prescriptions ) until that deductible is met. That's for single coverage, and is pretty much the standard for everybody (at least us poor working people) in my area. That also means that come every January, I have to pay full price for the heart meds and meds I have take to deal with a brain tumor.
, until that deductible is met for the year again. That has resulted in a few times having to forgo taking life-saving meds in order to take care of other responsibilities.
I don't know how many "High End Happy Hours" you attend, but you couldn't be more out of touch with reality when it comes to healthcare for the common working man!
