The freezers in morgues also say that 5-10x more people died of the flu.
Which has been well established and around for over a century and would kill far fewer people if idiots who don't get shots would do so. But hey, let's be as stupid as humanly possible regarding this new thing that we don't have a vaccine for so it can become as well-entrenched as the flu. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Gave blood today. It doesn't look like they're doing tests on donated blood for COVID-19 at this point, but one would think it seems prudent to test any units if they are being given to recipients over the age of 75 or 80. I haven't seen that issue addressed at this point.
There’s no evidence yet that it’s a blood borne pathogen, so I think they’re going off of that for not screening. Red Cross is saying you have to be healthy when you donate, but with the lengthy incubation period, that doesn’t mean a donor is clean. Still, if it’s blood or death...I’m taking that chance.
