Hmmmm.... I don't know how my analysis of the hypo espoused on this thread as it relates to the applicable law means I have obviously never seen cops abuse their authority, but whatever.

I'm with you BKB. Not sure I'm getting the connection here.

Pretty simple actually. The point is that just because charges were formally filed doesn't mean they're valid...my example showed that a cop can flat out lie out of spite if he wanted to and issue a citation--or even effect an arrest--although no violation of the law has occured and the cop knows it, and there are no supporting witnesses.

Because just as the cop had a hard on for cyclists based on limited experiences...Mili has a hard on for cops based on one experience. It's what us on the mainland call hypocrites....

Uh, Einstein, where you get that I hate cops? I don't. My neighbor and good friend is a cop. I do, however, hate dipshits who blatantly misuse their position and authority.
