Cool thing happened at work today thread....

Folanator

Brawndo's got electrolytes...
Thought it might be fun to have a thread for those odd times when something happens cool to you at work. Now this might be seeing someone you hate spill coffee on themselves causing 2nd degree burns, a promotion/job well done or even the office hottie showing you a little something special.

To start, we sent a bunch of nutritional product down to 5x MMA champ Randy Coulture's training facility in Vegas and look like we are going to be starting to work with some of the UFC boys.

Might be one of the coolest things ever for me if it works out.

Are you in the nutritional supplement buisness?

Jah. What my company does is custom make sports drinks for athletes. You can adjust flavor levels, calories per serving, electrolyte, add protein aminos or caffeine. We then mix it up specifically for the athlete.
We have been targeting Ironman Triathletes for two years and have been very sucessful. Now we are moving out to Wrestlers, Swimmers, Mountain Bikers/Roadies, Woman who want lower calories. etc. The adjustability of the caloric per serving is a huge benefit for anyone trying to cut weight.
Fun Biz, lets me go to a bunch of fun events in nice places.

I saw someone's car get repo'd in the parking lot, yesterday.

Always hilarious...

Only downside is they didn't figure it out as it was happening...

The screaming at the track driver is jsut that little extra that makes it really special.

i work for a broker dealer, nothing that exciting happens here, top two coolest things to date:

1) we were courting a producer that we really wanted to join our firm, so everyone was wearing suits and dressed very formal, he showed up in shorts and a polo shirt :slappy:

2) the hot whore in trading had a nip slip about a month ago

Hey! We do pretty much the same thing.

I am retired and watch my two grandsons two days a week. When they want chocolate milk the older one likes his really strong while the younger one just likes it a light tan color.

Do your athletes got chocolate milk?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS - remember, these types of things are never on accident, and you now have the right to openly discuss and 'tweak' her nipple.

Absolutely nothing cool going on at work for me - unless you count sr. management and HR coming in, shutting down the office, shipping some of us to L.A. and firing the others - because that happened last week. Sweet.

The most recent for me was meeting and talking with William H.Macy... very laid back and seemed like a great guy... he was here promoting "The Deal".

shortly before that I got to hang out a little with Joe Pantoliano. Kind of an odd guy... very nice but seemed a little out there. He insisted we (myself and a few others) sit at my desk and watch an interview he did about mental illness and depression... before too long it was just me, him and a producer when a guy from our promotions department came over and proceeded to tell him how much he liked him in "Goonies". He was here receiving and award for his work in the film "CANVAS".... plus he was wearing a big Indiana Jones hat so that was cool :)

We let the smoke out of a prototype generator yesterday. Seeing main stator temperatures in excess of 450 degrees F while spinning at 24000 RPMs is pretty cool.

Just needs a firery explosion at the end and I would buy a ticket to watch...:)

Four cool things have happened to me while working:

1) Talking with Adam Foote's dad. Coolest guy on the planet.
2) Talking with Rick Nash.
3) Talking with Kirk Barton.
4) Talking with Larry Grant.

Order doesn't really mean anything there.

Something about the tens of thousands of dollars that the stators and rotors cost that they won't let us go all fiery and shit. Have to shut it down on the first puff of smoke...Weeeeeeak.
