I have three figures that I've made in SigmaPlot 9.0 and copied to powerpoint and need to convert to high resolution (600-1200 dpi) TIFFS. Does anyone have a quick and cheap suggestion on how to get it done?
I deal with this all the time. Never seem to have good enough results for the publications. I usually tell the user to go back to their source (in this case SigmaPlot) and export from there into something like Photoshop. A lot of times once they're in Powerpoint you've already lost more quality than you need. Most journals are pretty picky about file type and dpi.
Thanks for the suggestions... I was able to (I think) export directly from SigmaPlot to 1200 dpi Tiff (although when I look at the file properties it says the dpi is 150, but the file size is 39 Mb so I think it's right).
