Congrats to Jose Mesa...

Tibbs: "WAS? heh heh."

I do, however, recall myself and Mr. Crumb getting into it once on Bucknuts like four years ago. That's the only instance I can remember ..

"Tibor 1, Josh Jackson 0"

"Jackson lines up for the extra point to tie ... and hooks it way left!!"

I was talking about this, Rashmish:

How a Cleveland fan can't even remember simple facts about the worst loss in team history. I guess your divorce scrambled your brains more than I thought. <img src="http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/imgops/rollinglaugh.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" class="inlineimg" /></span></td></tr></table>

If it's any consolation Cleveland fans, you could be a Pittsburgh fan when
Barry Bonds couldn't throw out Sid "the turtle" Bream from short left field.

At least Joe Table earned his blown save. Bonds just gagged big time.

I disagree. I don't know if you could ever EXPECT an outfielder to throw a guy out at home, even if it is Sid Bream. Its always a tough, bang-bang play.

How bout blaming the pitcher who couldn't get journeyman Francisco Cabrera out?

I would agree if it was a normal depth fly ball, but it was so shallow that, combined with Bream's lack of speed, even an off line throw would have given him time to make the tag. There is no excuse for a major league outfielder
to have such a bad throw at such a critical time.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still blaming Joe, but lucky for me I'm not a Tribe fan so it doesn't sting.

I guess they can blame Lind and Drabek too.
