NDs been through enough
You know, it could happen to any team. I used to hate ND but now I couldn't even care less. If they every do get back on top again I'll be in my 50s.
Pompus dumbshits (PDs) that they were, they forced out a good coach who deserved to stick around. They traded him in for dumb and dumber, then they tried to get liar, liar, and now Ty, who BTW, is also a good coach. We're ND, we can do anything we want.
As the cheap electro-plated gold domes turn green, the PDs can watch the NBC contract diminish with every passing presidential election until they are, well, like Syracuse.
I once used to be in awe of the fearless schedules they took on. Now, more pedestrian, they're going for the 9-win season and a January 1 bowl bid. I can't say I blame them.
I wonder if Holtz is lovin' it, or if he really doesn't care, or is ambivalant. Personally, I'm glad ND is down, it makes recruiting in Cincinnati and Kentucky easier.
