Here is what I have...

Swinney is in a live audition. They love him and want him to take it, but the situation is obviously volatile. This is his chance.

Frontrunners if he does not succeed: Will Muschamp, Bobby Johnson, and Lane Kiffin.

This is why I don't have a problem with a midseason change in this case. Swinney gets a half season audition, and a lot of time for potential damage control on the recruiting front. Swinney will likely be able to get one of these guys back, and stop a mass defection, if he has any kind of success on the field.

Some harsh quotes coming from Cullen Harper, the former starting QB who was just replaced by Willy Korn:

Swinney cans Spence

Just got it confirmed that interim head coach Dabo Swinney has fired offensive coordinator Rob Spence.
Athletic director Terry Don Phillips gave Swinney the option to retain Spence or let him go. Spence, who was in his fourth season with the Tigers, left the McFadden Building about a half-hour ago.
I'm guessing Swinney will promote a graduate assistant to fill the open spot on the staff, but I'm really not sure right now.

Not that I disagree with what the Harper's feel, but... I mean sometimes you have to bear the onus silently to come out with the moral high ground.
