Not all tv's match up with computer resolutions. Now tv's (HD ones) are typically 1280x720 or 1920x1080. You will not find these as native resolutions on a typical computer (although 1920x1080 is showing up more). Unless you have a setup that allows custom resolutions (my NVidia GPU allows it), you will not be able to match up resolutions. Since your tv is not set up to getting a 768 or a 900 input, it cannot convert it.

edit: hmm, just checked my laptop and his has 1280x720 as a setting. You might want to try that if your computer has that available. Your tv should be able to convert that since it sees that rez all the time. I also saw that your tv is 1366x768. Not a typical setting on a computer, but like I said, since it converts 720p broadcasts it should be able to handle 1280x720.

Here is a good chart

As you can see, the typical tv ratio is 16:9, while typical computer resolutions are 16:10. That is probably your issue. You need to set your computer to a 16:9 ratio.

I just got mine hooked up to my LCD...looks pretty nice IMO.

That's the setup...nothing short around on mine haha (that's what she said). Although I love IBM's graphic options, makes it very easy to switch back and forth between LCD and laptop

Up next is wireless keyboard and mice
