Computer polls have no validity, unless...

Mike Greenfield is pretty awesome and the Bobcats are good. Sagarin's got 'em at 14.

It's too early for the computer polls to have predictive validity, but there's been enough play to connect the teams and if they look like this three weeks from now, well...:wink2:

Computer polls have dropped the Buckeyes a bit after this run of four games.

Sagarin #12
Greenfield #9

The computers appear to be still converging a bit.

Ohio U is now #24 and #25, respectively, showing growing similarity in power ratings. However, Texas is #18 and #39, respectively. So, I suppose it will be another three or four games before these things start to converge nicely.

The computer polls have converged after the Indiana loss, but probably not like many people think. Buckeyes go up a bit and...

Sagarin #8 (SOS #148)
Greenfield #9 (SOS #50, predicting a final record of 22-3)
Pomeroy #8 (SOS #58, last five games #19)

According to Pomeroy, we are now #13 in the RPI ratings.

Computers are calling it a 21-6 season, prior to the Big Ten tournament

Thought you guys might like to see this.

The computer projection for two of the services have the Buckeyes at 21-6 final records. A number of the games are too close to call, with the Buckeyes having at least a 40% chance to win every game except one.

Computer projections for rest of year...
