Comparisons between LSU v OSU offensive personnel

of course I forgot.... The Southern States breed ya'll much like the Spartans did in the movie 300.... They probably sent you out in the wild to run down cheetah's for speed, fight bears for strength, and wrestle gators for courage. Got a question do you do your battles in the shade?

I can accept if you think your players are better but stating that every game on your schedule is tougher than a michigan/OSU game is IMO not needed here. Why don't you ask your coach what he thinks?

Whats so funny about Boeckman being rated ahead of your qb?? Personally I also gave LSU the slight Edge, but if the first 10 game Boeckman shows up I think Boeckman is actually slightly better than what you have. The numbers for a qb tells a lot. The fact that Boeckman has a better completion %, pass eff., more TD's, less attempt, and he also have very good measures for a QB. He also isn't as statue like in the pocket as most assume either, he can run the ball if he really needs to.

From a pure QB standpoint yup Boeckman is better than Flynn. Better as a dual threat? No, definatly not... but the title of his position is QUARTERBACK. They pass the ball, and lead their teams. Both Flynn/Boeckman excell at leading their teams but Boeckman does distrubute the ball better.
I assume that you took into consideration that Flynn played in several games with a sprained ankle plus a shoulder injury, did not have his number 1 receiver for 4 complete games and parts of a couple of others and played against much tougher defenses during the year?

If he was good enough to play then It don't matter if he was injured or not. I believe Boeckman had a minor ding in the year (not like Flynn but still) he also was missing a reciever for a while as well. Whats done is done you can't state what hasn't/won't happen. Point of the matter is Boeckman has better throwing numbers.

Flynn is a tremendous QB and talented in his own right, and yes he is a more complete dual threat QB. However as a straight up QB my preference is Todd because of the TD's, the Completion %, the pass Efficiency, as well as his capability to hit the deep ball. I'm not sayin ya'lls QB's suck but rather it's just my opinion Todd is the better pure QB.

Someone has yet to explain to me why Early Doucet is considered an elite receiver with his whopping 9.5 ypc average...

It's because his name is Early and he's a single digit number. That'd be like having a player named Maximus Crush playing linebacker and being #1 I mean of course he'd seem like a bad ass even if he was a walk on.

Doucet is our best receiver, but you can't go by his stats. He had a severe groin injury and missed 4 complete games and the second half of 2 others as well as being very limited in a couple of others. He should be 100% by game time and he will be the "go to" receiver.

That doesn't mean he should have a Derrick Williams-esque yards per catch average. I could see if he had like less receptions for less yardage but a higher ypc, but 9.5 is downright pathetic.
