Tenn may have talent, but they got absolutely smoked by Cal, and gave up 15 more pts to UF than in the ever-popular buckeye beatdown.

I assume that you took into consideration that Flynn played in several games with a sprained ankle plus a shoulder injury, did not have his number 1 receiver for 4 complete games and parts of a couple of others and played against much tougher defenses during the year?bukIpower;1034980; said:Whats so funny about Boeckman being rated ahead of your qb?? Personally I also gave LSU the slight Edge, but if the first 10 game Boeckman shows up I think Boeckman is actually slightly better than what you have. The numbers for a qb tells a lot. The fact that Boeckman has a better completion %, pass eff., more TD's, less attempt, and he also have very good measures for a QB. He also isn't as statue like in the pocket as most assume either, he can run the ball if he really needs to.
From a pure QB standpoint yup Boeckman is better than Flynn. Better as a dual threat? No, definatly not... but the title of his position is QUARTERBACK. They pass the ball, and lead their teams. Both Flynn/Boeckman excell at leading their teams but Boeckman does distrubute the ball better.
Someone has yet to explain to me why Early Doucet is considered an elite receiver with his whopping 9.5 ypc average...
Doucet is our best receiver, but you can't go by his stats. He had a severe groin injury and missed 4 complete games and the second half of 2 others as well as being very limited in a couple of others. He should be 100% by game time and he will be the "go to" receiver.SNIPER26;1036131; said:Someone has yet to explain to me why Early Doucet is considered an elite receiver with his whopping 9.5 ypc average...
