Commuting Time

Takes me about 12 seconds to walk from my bedroom to my office. I usually stop off in the kitchen and get some coffee though so maybe a minute. I put my twins on the bus in the morning three days a week so that probably takes a minute or two also.

No kidding. I'm hoping that someone else here in Columbus will pick them up, but it seems like all the stations already have shitty morning shows.

It's not the most intelligent stuff on the radio, but it is at least entertaining and somewhat mind-numbing. Kept me from going insane here at work. Now I'm going to have to kill someone.

I knew a guy who worked out of his home. His commute was about 5 minutes. He would get up, shower, shave, dress, eat breakfast, get in his car and drive around the block a few times before he came back home, went inside and started working. It was the only way he could actually get himself to work from his house.

I used to work from home and I can now if I want.
I guess it depends on your personality but I went stir crazy.

When my office was in my home the phone rang one night around 12:00AM. My mom and grandmother were in town visiting. I spent about half an hour helping a guy out and then went to bed. The next day they asked about the call. I explained that he did not know that I worked out of my home and he needed help and called hoping for the best. When you work from home sometimes you have a 24 hour job.

You know its not all that great, it has its downside too. I mean I have to take a shit in my own quiet private bathroom. :wink2:

There are also the conference calls where my 2 year old stands outside my office screaming Daddy the whole time too.

If I had my choice, I would not work from home, but the shitter is nice.

Ther is nothing better than stinking up the shitter at work and leaving it for all to smell.....(When you work with all guys this becomes socially acceptable)
