We have a cell phone,and the wife and I use it for all our longdistance calls. I have a PDA, and use it. It has Bluetooth and WiFi. I wear and use a radio @ work. Beepers are used at work, but I don't wear one of the them.

Anyone else find those damn NexTel phones half as annoying as I do?

I had one for about 9th months for work and couldn't stand when people called me on it.

Does ANYONE carry a pager anymore? What would be the purpose?

I use a pager for work. I'm technical support so when anybody has a problem and I'm on call, I get paged to call them back. Its actually quite funny because if I go out when I am on call I have to carry the pager and cell phone on me. I also have to have my work issued laptop available. I have actually had somebody ask me if I was a nurse or something because I was carrying a pager.

I don't answer if someone bumps me on my Nextel. I make them do a regular call on the cell phone. Mine is on vibrate and the speaker is off.

Cell phone that I have to use alot. Also, a motorola radio for work that reaches campus from home. You can talk on it but also control irrigation controllers and so on with it.

Cell phone and Internet through the cable so there is no need for a house phone. My fiance just can't understand why I think a house phone is a waste of money. My nights and weekends start at 7.

My fiancee has a pager for work. You can multi-home several pagers to a single number and page half a dozen tech support people at once to urge them to call, plus they have unparalleled reception/range.

You cannot group a bunch of cell phones together with a single number, so you'd have to dial each one individually.
