Coming Soon (New Movies)

I remember reading somewhere that Downey Jr is getting paid $50-70 Mill per movie or something crazy and is potentially wanting to move on. I remember them talking about Chris Evans moving on from Captain America shortly after Civil War to pursue other roles and then Hemsworth is done after Avengers 4.

To be fair, I am by no stretch a comic book guy and to be honest find the comic books boring. I have no desire to read them. But Marvel has done a great job with their cinematic Universe, in (maybe large) part because of the actors they have to play their characters. If (when) they lose Downey, Evans, and Hemsworth I don't know if I'll have the same excitement to continue on with the movies or not? Even if the suits carry on.

I think that's where the shift for the next batch of names will come in. Going to a more 'beyond earth' theme. Guardians, Fantastic 4, Silver Surfer, Galactus, etc etc. Of course you have Spidey and Black Panther and I think, while light hearted, a big part of those upcoming films will be carrying on with out the founding members of the Avengers.

We're not getting F4 Silver Surfer, etc anytime soon.

You can tell they're already starting the shift with characters like Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Guardians, Falcon/Bucky, etc.

Don't see them using Steve Rogers and Tony Stark after Avengers 4.

Can't wait for the new Avengers movie and I've heard roomers someone is dying which I think would suck.

This story is loosely adapted from a wildly successful mini-series published in 1991. Tony's vision foreshadowed in Age of Ultron would imply that ...

Almost everybody will die in Infinity War, Part I. Nebula (Karen Gillan's character in both GotG movies) will come into possession of the gauntlet and rewind everything (like Dr Strange figured out how to do) in the subsequent Infinity War, Part II. Big question for me is if Hella returns as a proxy for Death from the books, since the MCU hasn't introduced Death as a proper character.

One of the Russos or Feige (sp?) or someone mentioned that Hawkeye was on his own path in the movie. Also, he has been seen in what looks like "Ronin" gear on set.

So. . .

As Fury is supposedly involved in the Captain Marvel movie, some are hypothesizing that Hawkeye (Ronin) and him go get Captain Marvel either barely on the side or in post credits, and return for Avengers 4 with her.

Also, Ant Man and the Wasp will be looking into the quantum realm, and may also come in as back up in Avengers 4.

Theories I heard from NERDS.
