The new Independence Day: Resurgence trailer made me LOL. I'm definitely seeing it in theaters, but I have no expectations it will be a "good movie" beyond being a pure popcorn muncher flick.

Wow...it is really going to be horrible, but in a good way, because at least Jeff Goldblum is aware, based on his lines in that trailer (i.e. "They always get the landmarks."). So awesomely terrible.

I don't really know about this, since I don't enjoy reboots of classic or cult 80's movies in general (Point Break, Karate Kid, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc.) and don't watch them.

The trailer seems like an SNL sketch extended.

I have a little hope after The Visit. That was really really good. But from the trailer, I have a feeling this will have a supernatural ending.
