This will be the first ComFest I've missed in years. I'll be in Chillicothe helping with Freely Fest. Saturday @ 6pm check out the Jazz Stage though for my buddy Nick doing a James Brown tribute during The Circus of Cool and right after that another couple of my buddies are going to be running around the main stage. One in a Hamburgler costume chasing the other guy in a chicken costume who will be passing out eggs filled with flyers for my other buddies band The Top Heavies who are playing at Tommy Keegan's that night.

I've never been there... is the whole thing pretty equal, or are there specific events/areas I should check out?

Just wander around the whole Goodale Park and see what appeals to you--there's 7 different stages constantly playing over 220 bands (the Bozo stage lineup is most up my own alley), there's a couple long stretches of concession stands with a "global food selection", there's a kind of Shakedown Street along the east side, and just people of all shapes and sizes hanging out doing their things (including many topless women). It's just a Community Festival, man!

Some of the topless women shouldn't be. I'll be there Friday night.

Went on Friday and had a good time-we snuck beer into the park,tho......The Spikedrivers were awesome-old time fiddle/standup bass bluegrass jam stuff-they had a bigger crowd at the the Gazebo than whomever was playing the main stage, and deservedly so.....the funniest ComFest was 04', when everyone was going nuts to defeat Bush-the politics have taken a backseat the last 2 years.....
