I've always liked them
So I was told by someone yesterday that the Budweiser plant by 270 and Cleveland ave had on it's green space by the highway at one time Buffalo and other exotic animals. Bud had had to get rid of the animals because of the frequent pot shots people were taking at them on 270.

At first I thought there was no way this was true but now after thinking about it I put in the realm of reason.
 
They did have a buffalo my Dad told me about it but not sure why they got ride of it. I highly doubt people were taking shots at it but the off ramp from 270 to I-71 south would be only a few hundred yards out. I think they had turkeys there too at one point.

I've never heard of it being at the Bud plant. I used to have soccer games there in that area around the park and that was almost 20 years ago. Perhaps before then. Domino's headquarters outside of Brighton, MI has buffalo and whatnot that I've seen.

I never saw any from 1981, when my family moved to Worthington, on. don't know what the deal was before then.

Not sure about "other exotic animals" but the only "good" reason I could see for this is that they'd presumably have plenty to eat (Post fermented barley) and they were doing some research along those lines.

Do Turkeys eat barley or some other brewing byproduct? (I have no idea)
