On the off chance you're not, he had fusion surgery on his neck and is likely out for the season.

They said his initial neck injury probably occurred while working out at an Indiana HS. He had surgery to fix that, but needed more last week because he was getting pain in his back, which was troublesome.

I'm pretty sure that's what happened. I've heard it so many times that I'm not even sure anymore.
