Brilliant feature NBC. They just showed a half screen shot of the crowd (sitting still after a boring play), Manning pre-snap in a quarter of the screen, and a full quarter dedicated to the playclock (something that networks have featured in the little scoreboard for decades).

Then they cut away from it before it provided any useful shots.
