Colorado Buffaloes (official thread)

Speaking of Cormani, I googled him to see if there was more smoke around the rumors and came across this article

Might be the most poorly written headline I’ve ever seen, holy shit that isn’t even Backwoods Auburn Alabama English.

With Sanders… yes he produced a winner at a lower level program. That’s a data point.

I think even that is debatable.
They were a successful wee tadpole in their pothole. The second they jumped up to a puddle, he went 0-2.
The most concerning part is there's no doubt he had better talent in those 2 bowl games.
He battered a bottom rung FCS conference with a core group of athletes who would be instant starters at most then-P5 FBS schools (and followed him to CU to do exactly that).

... and even with the talent advantage, he still fell short.
Once his sons leave, what then? He might get one Hunter a year at his position. But that has limited returns. The rest of his recruiting is Rutgers-esque without the benefit of a New Jersey in his backyard.

So they would sit out a year if they were drafted by one of the teams they don’t want to play for? Isn’t that their only play? Elway was also drafted by the Yankees, so he had some leverage to force the trade to the Nags. What leverage do these two have? And I’m doubting both in the top 4. But Hunter is a special talent, and Shedeur might be.

It worked for the Mannings, so why wouldn't it work here? I totally get his comments about when he was selected to go to ATL. I find the comment about cold weather cities funny since they do live a mile high at the foot of mountains in CO.
