Go Buckeyes!

  • This weekend's series at Texas A&M will present (on paper at least) the toughest test for the Buckeyes this year.

Friday Feb 29: Texas A&M (Regional winner and host in last year's CWS) The Aggies dropped a double-header to Northern Colorado University to start the season, but won the last game in the series to go 1-2 on the year.
Sat Mar 1: Louisiana Tech who is 3-0 after a weekend sweep of McNeese St. Louisiana Tech (3-0) outscored McNeese (0-3) 44-6 in the three-game series
Sun Mar 2: Arkansas is also 3-0 on the season after a sweep of Wright State.

Hey buddy..I posted all this info in another thread! :tongue2: J/K

However unlikely it may seem, La tech is probably the toughest team of the three. Arkansas and TAMU will probably be better at years end, but La Tech is the most dangerous right now....IMO,

They hit 10 HR's vs McNeese....yikes! This La tech team is built much like the Western Carolina team we faced last year in C-bus ....lots of power and lots of veteran players.

I say we get 1 out of 3 this weekend.

obviously, its in the Seton Hall thread...duh. I mean, where else would info on the Dominos Pizza Classic be? :wink2:

Sadly, on those rare occasions that i do make an informative post, its in a thread nobody will ever check again.

    La Tech (5-0) vs UL-Monroe (4-0)

Ought to be a good one....Both teams have been dominate so far.

Btw, I'm not turning into a La Tech fan, although i am currently on their bandwagon!

I hope like heck we are the first team to beat em'.

If we get 1 I'll be satisfied at this point. If we somehow pull 2 or the unthinkable sweep I'll pass out from elation! I just want to see the fielding improve and for the boys to play hard, smart baseball. The pitching should hold up for the most part this season. How many runs can we score and do we give them any extra outs? Those are my major concerns.

    Go Bucks!
