SoCal, Baby!
1. UConn is a pretender. Loss of POTY Kemba Walker had a huge impact on this team. Top-15, sure, but hardly top-5.
2. UNC is a great team, but anyone can get beat when the opponent cannot miss from beyond the arc. Props to UNLV, who will not be heard from much the remainder of the season IMO.
3. Frank Haith may actually not be a bad coach, counter to what I (and seemingly all the pundits) thought. Mizzou looks really, really good; they may be the replacement for UConn in the top 5.
4. Kentucky has more talent than any other team, but eventually Calipari needs to get someone to stay at least three years or he'll never win anything important.
5. No team in the USA is clearly better than the Buckeyes; only Duke, Kentucky and UNC seem to be on our level. What a fun year this is going to be!
