Of course they will. It should be the Saturday night game on ABC. That doesn't mean that Gameday will be in Tuscaloosa. Herbie has flown to a different location to announce the evening game several times.

This was decided before the season they would be in Tuscaloosa, I heard a few mentions of it in the off season on ESPN. Gameday hasn't been to Tuscaloosa but maybe a couple times, where they've been to Columbus more than any other site. Not to mention Bama being #1, I can understand why they'd decide to go there. I think ESPN understands our game is the biggest in terms of national implications though.

Fan bases are being taken into account as well I believe. I do not think many feel the storylines and game itself are better than OSU/UM...but Bama and PSU have fanbases like OSU...Miami? Not so much...
