College football rankings: Ohio State with 63 of 64 1st place votes in Coaches Poll Top 25

Ohio State still looking good in the eyes of the coaches.

Although not unanimous as they were in the preseason poll, the Ohio State Buckeyes remain the top team in the Amway Coaches Poll Top 25 poll after the first week of the college football season. The Buckeyes had an impressive showing against Virginia Tech in Blacksburg after a shaky first half of play.

Alabama jumped to the No. 2 spot and received one No. 1 vote after a dominant victory over the Wisconsin Badgers, who dropped to No. 24, sending TCU to No. 3 after a closer than expected game against Minnesota. Arizona State dropped out of the rankings, while Texas A&M moved up to No. 19 after an impressive showing against the Sun Devils.

The AP Top 25 is slated to be released at 2 p.m. eastern time.
