One day after releasing the initial College Football Playoff rankings, the CFP announced future title game locations Wednesday afternoon. [ MORE: 5 Big Ten teams make first CFP rankings ] The winners: Atlanta (2018), Santa Clara, California (2019) and New Orleans (2020). The CFP previously announced title game sites for this season (Glendale, Arizona) and next season (Tampa, Florida). Big Ten cities Detroit and Minneapolis were in the running for the 2018-20 games, but did not end up receiving a bid, for one reason or another.
