Kind of off topic but along the same lines.

I graduated HS in 94 and it was the infancy of the state standard testing for HS graduation. We had to write an essay about who in history we would like to spend an entire day with and why.

I wrote about how I'd like to spend the day with several supermodels and take them on a trip to a nude beach.

I was one of 5 students in my graduating class of 400 that got and Outstanding on the essay.

Yeah I dont remember doing any essays and I applied to OSU and Ohio Northern. Of course I have been known to partake in some 420 sessions so maybe my memory is a bit hazy....

who did you pick as your person?
My daughter had to write these types of essays for applications this year. It was actually pretty interesting to read them.

For me, all I can say is when I applied to OSU we didn't have to write no stickin essay....

I've had to do a few of these throughout my life...high school (for practice) and for a couple of the colleges I applied to. Besides the aforementioned ones,a famous/historical person I'd like to meet/spend a day with or an influential figure in my life, I once had to do one on what time period I would most like to go back and observe/live in.

When I was in 7th grade I did one of these type of papers on Woody Hayes.
