have you ever been to boise? average snowfall is less than 20 inches. comparable to lexington kentucky...

it sits in a large valley and has a mild, drier (to us midwesterners) climate.

Here are the two biggest reasons I'm looking forward to this weekend's AFC and NFC championship games: Pittsburgh's game-day forecast -- high of 19, low of 9 -- and Chicago's game-day forecast -- high of 23, low of 18 with a chance of snow. The forecast is so gloriously frigid I hope Jon Krakauer is credentialed to chronicle the suffering.

I'll take a little exception to that, being that I grew up in NC... The collective IQ of central Ohio drivers drop 30 points with every 2 inches of snow that falls... It snows all the time up here and yet for some reason people still can't drive in it...




But then again, it may just be more about the sex of the driver rather than where the driver is from......... :tongue2:

Amen to that. What's even worse is that it also drops about 18 pts when it rains.

The psychological advantage would be off the charts. You already have players like Nick Fairley saying he doesn't want to get drafted by a cold weather team. Joking or not the issue of weather would be in their head.
