Coincedence?

The AP has an article about the Rose Bowl today in the local paper but what I find amusing is that the heading for the article is "Day of whine and Roses". The "whine" part with Carr's picture above gave me a good laugh.

Concendence? Hmmmmm!

What's he got to whine about! Thay backed into the Rose Bowl, it's not like they earned the trip. GINN FOR HEISMAN!

The whine is probably a reference to Mack Brown whining his way into a BCS game and Cal getting shafted.

As it turns out, Cal was not a great team and Texas probably deserves to be there, but what Mack Brown did (lobbying for votes) was despicable.
