I think they got pretty close to holding Miami in that range. They did give up 250 yards passing, on 44 attempts, average per attempt 5.7 yards. My guess is that's where the 5-yd metric comes into play. If only they could have broken up a couple of deeper patterns late.the 5 yrd average on pass plays struck me as being a little unrealistic. you expect your guys to make the takle on the spot and shouldn't reward anything less. but most teams average pass play isn't 5 yards.
