Listening to the game last night, thought it was interesting that Beamer & company had spent the last few summers learning tricks from the Indianapolis Colts. Also remember that Tressel visited Miami a few years back to look at their offense (believe TE usage).

Anyone know if they visited other coaching staffs this summer? Just curious.

I thought I heard Tress also visited Va Tech... maybe sent an asst. If not, he should have, just to talk special teams :)

Seems to me that Va Tech's real weaknesses the past few years are mental toughness and durability - as shown by late game/late season breakdowns.

Then again. I'm overgeneralizing. and off-topic. why do you guys put up with me? honestly, people...

I think that when you're doing really well, nobody else who's any good will take you in because they don't want to have to play you later.

Everybody from Miami was kind of like, "man, I guess we taught you guys a little too much of our stuff."

Of course that was never really said, but the media did learn about that and went on with it a bit.

I'm sure Pepper and Vrabel have been to Columbus and have been more than willing to espouse some of the virtues (cough- Metcalf up the middle) of Belichick magic/ideology.
