Cloud music services (Amazon, Google, Apple, Spotify, etc.)

I got it (free version). It does have a huge library, but there are some things missing (the only Pink Floyd I could find was Pulse).

If you have to listen to specific songs, then yeah, it's pretty good. Yet I still like just putting on Pandora where it just plays random music.

Can anyone send out Spotify invites? I signed up for an invite, but haven't gotten anything.

I have one or two Google Music invites if anyone wants one.

I just checked, and they haven't given me any invites to give out.

FWIW, I didn't get my invite through the regular signup. The day Spotify was introduced, there was some person from their PR dept. or something that was on Twitter that was giving them out on the side. I've also seen where some of Spotify's sponsors have been giving out invites here and there - it's something to keep an eye out for in the tech blogs.

Just came across this desktop app someone created for google music. If this could upload music as well I'd be one step closer from getting rid of iTunes (damn ipod classic).

This is a desktop application for Google Music Beta online music service which currently is invite only access and restricted to U.S.

This application let's you use this service as a desktop application mainly for accessing/controlling it with multimedia keyboard, taskbar buttons and as a widget.

Current features:
- A notification splashform
- LastFM Scrobbling
- Free RAM after song end
- Uses Webkit Engine
- Supports Multimedia Keys [PlayPause, Stop, Previous and Next]
- Windows 7 Taskbar support [Buttons for: Play/Pause Previous and Next]
- MiniPlayer
- Metro UI Like with Aero Snap support (it was kinda difficult to make a windows' form with Metro design like from scratch)

TODO:

- Windows 7 Application Sound Mixer control [volume +/-/mute]
- Application messaging support - to control playback from other apps like Desktop Gadgets, Docklets, etc.
- Systray support (even if Windows Explorer restarts)
- Remember application/widget/notification position
- And other minor ones .. . .
